I recently spoke with a friend of mine in Ghana. I was telling him all about our snow day and what exactly it entails. This led me to a conversation with a friend of mine that involved a ton of reminiscing from our travels. Therefore, this is story time (i need to procrastinate):

-My friend and I were traveling, just the 2 of us...we were in Cape coast, Ghana at the time. We had arrived during the night (i think?) and had been traveling for a few days. We were in need of cash!  BUT, we had no idea where the Forex (foreign exchange bureau) was. We asked one of them who works at our hostel to direct us and he decided to send another employee (kinda-this kid just is always there and sells shirts to the guests) to take us to a forex. So, off we went with King David (thats the kids name). We walked for like ever..until finally arriving at some cloth shop. We were legit SO confused...as usual. Whatever. So we continued on into the back of the store where a tall man stood counting money. Apparently this was our forex...nbd. We were used to this kinda stuff by now. So we got our money and decided we wanted to go run around cape coast (since i love it there-i had been there a couple weeks earlier). King David was talking to the shop owner so we thanked him for bringing us and told him we were heading back. OFF WE WENT (and had a great day too).  That evening, we ate at the rooftop restaurant in the hostel and obvs king david was there selling some shirts to the tourists. After our meal, we were going to head back to our room but another hotel employee (forget his name) stopped us to chat (he loves us because he knew me from before and just loves OG). Next thing you know, King David passes by and we say hello. Suddenly, he is so angry at us and like starts going on about how we left him in the market and he had to come back alone and on his way he fell and it was OUR fault that he fell. It was SO funny. SO pretty much hated us until the other hotel employee told him that he had to be nice to us hahaha.
