Finished my first exam last night!
I had development of human sexuality with Joy.
Our next exam is adult development and again on Saturday.
We've been studying non-stop (basically) since I got back to Guelph on Wednesday night. We're sick of coffee, sick of textbooks and sick of reading!
I have one chapter left to get through before my continuous read-throughs (one word or two?-edit: i hyphened it...fixes everything)!
I just finished a chapter on personality, it was the first one i actually found moderately interesting. It talked about this theory called Possible Selves. It basically says we come up with "possible ideas of ourselves" and its just so true. Im like 100% sure we all have ideas of where we want to be in 5, 10, 20 years....maybe not where we'll end up exactly but everyone has goals that motivate them and this is just like that.
possible selves
-child psychologist! woo.
-mother? (surrogate please?)
-wife? (oh em geeee)
-ot?
-pt?
-happy...successful......
-advocate? hahaha
oh my god this is so uncomfortable for me to write. i dont like the idea of being older and working and all that stuff. its terrifying.
